You don’t become the longest-running American sitcom without getting a few things right. The Simpsons has proven to be a measure of cultural trends in more than a few ways. Here we look at 10 times the hit show accurately predicted the future in some eerie and some simply hilarious ways.

Rolling Stones Tour (Lisa’s Wedding, 1995)


When the above poster appeared in a dorm for a 2010 Stones tour, the joke was supposed to be that the band would by then be in wheelchairs. Well, no tour actually took place in 2010 exactly, but the band is still alive and kicking (not in wheelchairs), and they had their Zip Code tour this year. Who would’ve thought? Apparently The Simpsons family knew.
